The Wise County Art Association, Inc. was
founded In 1972 with the purpose of stimulating
interest in the fine and applied arts in the
region |

The Wise County Art Association promotes arts through their educational
programs such as art lectured, workshops,
demonstrations, annual art shows and
competitions. The Wise County Art Association also offers a scholarship
each May to a Wise county senior. |

The Wise County Art Association membership is comprised of professional
and non-professional artists including painters,
sculptures, and photographers. Members' artwork
is on display in several Wise county banks and
in the Wise County Courthouse throughout the
entire year. |

The Wise County Art Association, Inc. meets the
second Monday of each month, September through
May, at the Bridgeport Library. Each meeting
begins at 7:00 P.M. with an art demonstration
followed by a brief business meeting.
Refreshments are served. The meetings are open
to the public.
The Wise County Art Association
functions as a not-for-profit
organization. |
